STRUKTUR UMUR GELOINA EROSA DI KAWASAN EKOSISTEM MANGROVE PESISIR BARAT KEBUPATEN ACEH BESAR

ABSTRACT

Mangrove cokles G. Erosa lives in some of mangrove ecosystem (Estuaries), and one of mangrove ecosystem area is in west Aceh Besar Regeny Coastal Area. G. Erosa has some generations started from larva (juvenil), spat and adult age needs for further analysis. The aim of this research is to make information about (1) measurement dispersion group, and (2) structure of age the G. Erosa which live in the mangrove ecosystem area in west Aceh Besar Regeny Coastal Area. The place of this research is divided into three locations, and the obsevation was implemented in June-August 2009. The total of plot sample in every four mounth and every each plot is 10 m x 10 m in each inside there are 10 subplot 50 cm x 50 cm. All subplots sampling are broken by using scaped destructive metode sampling quadrate, and to filt base water sedimen. The result showed that dispersion of measure G. Erosa poin is around 1.05-8.55 mm to form 12 measure group,are is dominated by juvenil. Structure of age is 3-6 kohort. Mangrove ecosystem area in west Aceh Besar Regeny Coastal Area has 3-6 generation of G. Erosa.
