ABSTRACT

The aim of this research is to determine the Marine Protected Area in Bombana Regency and to formula the proposal of zonation in the management of Regional Marine Protected Area (RMPA). The research was used survey method on biophysic, social, culture and economic datum. The result of scooring analysis showed that Bombana Regency to destined for Marine Tourism Park (MTP). The fungtion of marine tourism park is to used for marine tourist object and recreation. The proposal of nominated locations Marine Protected Area in Bombana Regency cover marine area at South of East Poleang District and Rumbia District, Kabaena strait, and West Kabaena District. Based on map by Geographycal Information System, the proposal of RMPA candidate in Bombana District is 19,176.981 Ha wide, used the proposed of waters zonation consists of core zone, fishing zone and sustainable fisheries.
